Assisted by the lawyer Giacomo Frazzitta, Piera Maggio and Piero Pulizzi filed opposition to the request for filing
Yesterday, 13 October 2021, Piera Maggio and Piero Pulizzi, assisted by their lawyer Giacomo Frazzitta, have filed opposition to the archiving request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Marsala. It will now be the Gip to evaluate everything. And to decide whether the investigations into the disappearance of little Denise Pipitone will continue or if the case will be closed.
The family of the child who disappeared in Mazara del Vallo on 1 September 2004 has been fighting for a long time 17 years. And now that all the gaps have been highlighted and that the media attention is all on little Denise, they have no intention of giving up. Piera Maggio has repeatedly stated that he will continue to look for his daughter alive, until he is able to hug her again or until there is concrete evidence of a tragic ending.
After the statements, live on TV, by the former prosecutor Maria Angioni, the prosecutor is returned to investigate on the case. Investigations which, however, seem to have led to nothing. Two of the suspects, Anna Corona and Giuseppe Della Key, were archived following testimonies found to be unreliable.
A few days ago the news of a disciplinary measure against Giacomo Frazzitta, sent to the bar. The lawyer explained that he was intercepted while talking about the magistrates. But to have used only positive adjectives and not to have committed any crime. He discovered the news from the press, before receiving it via pec.
Another disappointment for Piera Maggio and Piero Pulizzi
One situation that led to another disappointment for Piera Maggio and Piero Pulizzi. The two parents have stated that such things should not happen. And which show that the priority does not seem to be that of the finding by Denise Pipitone.
Yesterday, after days of viewing the files (over 4,000 pages) of the new investigations, they opposed the request for archiving. It will now be at the Gip in Marsala a taking a decision.
