According to the secretariat, the teacher was rescued at the scene of the attack by Samu and transferred to the State Hospital Dr. Jayme dos Santos Neves (HEJSN), in Serra, but she did not resist the injuries and was confirmed dead this Saturday afternoon.
Two teachers and a 12-year-old student were the first three victims of the shooter, a 16-year-old teenager who will respond for an offense similar to three homicides and ten attempted homicides.
He invaded the Primo Bitti State School and the Praia de Coqueiral Educational Center, a private school, on Friday morning. Twelve people were injured and at least five of them are still hospitalized, most in serious condition, according to a bulletin from the Secretary of Health of Espírito Santo.
Two women, aged 52 and 45, underwent surgeries and remain in the ICU in serious condition at Hospital Santos Neves, right where the 38-year-old teacher was.
A third woman, aged 58, underwent surgery at the State Emergency Hospital in the state capital and remains stable.
Two teenagers (one aged 11 and the other aged 14) are still hospitalized in the ICU of the Nossa Senhora da Glória State Hospital, also in the capital, both in serious condition.
