The current life of Olvido Hormigos after disappearing from television: return to his town, three children and a great regret

Whether this was the cause or not, Olvido decided to completely immerse himself in the world of television sets and the tabloid press, airing his different intimate relationships and earning more than one enemy for it.

Interest in his private life grew and he began to be a regular face on different programs, the first of which was ‘Look who’s jumping!’ on Telecinco, a network on which he would appear for many more years. ‘Sálvame’ ‘Come have dinner with me’, ‘Mujeres y Hombres y Vicerversa’ or ‘Campamento de verno’ were some of the formats in which Olvido participated. One of his most controversial and well-known moments was the one who starred as a contestant on ‘Big Brother VIP’, in which he had a very famous discussion with Belén Esteban.

Some time after all that maelstrom of sets, cameras, confrontations, magazine covers, controversies and his life completely exposed, Hormigos decided to retire and disassociate completely of all that. It has now been 12 years since the publication of the video that marked a before and after in his life and it has changed, once again, completely.

His great regret

The only glimmer of his most media-heavy time came last January, when an interview previously recorded for ‘Friday!’, in which he told how he spent the years after the unfortunate moment and his role as a ‘VIP’, but he retired from those worlds again.

«I feel guilty because my family has suffered a lot and that damage can be reversed. Now I see it all and I say there are things I would never do. I regret and am very ashamed», he confessed on the set of Mediaset just a few months ago.

Hormigos’ withdrawal from television is permanent, since he has not returned to any program or contest and this can also be verified through his social networks. Although she is not usually excessively active, it is common for her to share moments of your family lifewith whom she was her husband when the video was leaked, and who remains today, Jesús Atahonero. He always tried to stay on the sidelines in Los Yébenes, a town in Toledo where they continue to reside today, although at one point he also dropped in for a television program.

This happened in 2014, when it was announced that Olvido was pregnant, and together they spoke on Telecinco to confirm that they were expecting a girl fruit of their relationship. In that appearance, Jesús confessed to having had a hard time due to the speculations that had been made about whose baby the baby would be and stated that he continued to love his partner very much despite his “mistakes.”

With this pregnancy, Olvido and her husband welcomed the world to his third daughter, Valeriathus becoming a large family along with the other children, Mario, 24 years old and Javier, 22. Although she does not usually show her private life now, the former councilor does share important moments with her children.

He especially shows great affection for Valeria, 9 years old, since being the youngest, she is the one he seems to dedicate the most time to, since the boys are studying and working, as they begin to form their adult lives, although he still continues being very close to them and her husband.

Regarding his work, when Olvido returned to his town he wanted to look for a stable job opportunity that was in line with his new life, so he tried to get the opposition to primary school teacher. Finally he did not manage to overcome the opposition and, from ‘Libertad Digital’, they indicate that he would now be working again in the Los Yébenes City Council.
