One of the ways to make a cosplay is to recreate the character from the anime, manga or video game as faithfully as possible. Many details can be taken care of, even in the setting. A second way is to let yourself go to creativity and propose something different that is not found in the original work but which does not lack quality. An example is this cosplay of couple of Minori_cousa and cudocos that they recreated A2 and 2B of Nier Automata.
In the video game, the two characters are battle androids on Earth and are on opposite sides. The two warriors, as attractive as they are, certainly don’t wear costumes bunnies like in this cosplay and they certainly wouldn’t be placed side by side with this simplicity.
