The Council of Ministers, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, adopted a decision appointing Dr. Khaled Muhammad Al-Khazraji as director of Zayed University.
Dr. Khaled occupied a number of positions and has extensive experience in business administration in the government and private sectors. He previously worked as Director General of the Human Resources Development and Employment Authority “Tanmia”, and as an undersecretary for the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (formerly the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs), and he also held a number of positions in The educational and academic sector, as he was a member of the Supreme Council of the Emirates University, and the Vice-Dean of the College of Business and Economics at the Emirates University and a member of the faculty there.
Dr. Khazraji supervised a number of projects, regulations, laws and decisions in the business and education sector, and was a member of the negotiating team for the Free Trade Agreement between the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America, and previously held several positions, including Vice Chairman of Majid Al Futtaim Trading Company, and a member of the Canadian University Board of Directors in Dubai, and a member of the Board of Directors of the General Pensions and Social Security Authority .. He is currently a member of a number of boards of directors, including the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Dubai.
Al-Khazraji completed his studies in the United States of America, and holds a doctorate in business administration and information systems from the University of Mississippi, a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami.
Al-Khazraji has a wealth of societal contributions and scientific research, and has contributed to the evaluation of a number of social and economic awards, and has published many books, articles and research.
