The awards distinguish the work of the Civil Guard, the Fremm, 7 TV Region of Murcia, PC Components and the Association of Housewives and Consumers-Thader Consumption
The Ministry of Business, Employment, Universities and Spokesperson, through the General Directorate of Consumer Affairs and Crafts, held an event on Thursday in which the first Murcia Region Consumer Awards were presented.
The awards recognize the work of consumer associations and other organizations, entities and institutions that “collaborate with the regional administration to develop, within our powers, an effective policy of protection and information for consumers,” according to Minister Valle Miguélez, who presided over the event that took place at the Romea Theater in Murcia.
One of those awarded by the Ministry in this first edition was the Civil Guard, a body that this last year collaborated with the General Directorate of Consumption to be able to carry out a series of technical conferences focused on the safety of products and their distribution. Likewise, the communicative work of 7 TV Región de Murcia was recognized, which through its programs and content reaches all its viewers.
The Regional Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs (Fremm) was also awarded, as it is “an organization that defends its interests by putting the end consumer first, which further dignifies the work of its associates.”
Another of the winners was the company PC Components, which the jury considers always takes special care that the communication channels with its customers work.
Finally, the prize for the Consumers Association went to the Association of Housewives and Consumers of the Region of Murcia-Thader Consumption, thus recognizing decades of work by its members and consumers in general.
“All the winners work for the benefit of consumers in the Region and these awards are to recognize their work and encourage them to continue down this path,” said the counselor.
