Specific initiatives will be articulated around this agreement, such as collaboration in the healthcare aspect
The Minister of the Presidency, Tourism, Culture and Sports, Marcos Ortuño, and the president of the Victims of Terrorism Foundation, Tomás Caballero, signed this Friday the new collaboration framework agreement between both institutions to carry out activities that reinforce the attention to the victims of the terrorism of the Region of Murcia and their families, and to help ensure their memory, remembrance and recognition.
Specific initiatives will be articulated around this agreement, such as collaboration in the care aspect for victims of terrorism and their families; joint work for a better understanding of the situation of this group and the effects of terrorist violence; or activities aimed at remembering and honoring the victims of terrorism, as well as promoting the values of coexistence, plurality and freedom of citizens.
The cooperation between the regional Administration and the Foundation has been maintained for years, given the relevance of the activities carried out by the Foundation, and the new agreement will allow it to be continued and strengthened. The agreement is framed in the Law of Aid to the Victims of Terrorism of the Community, whose objective is to give recognition to those who have directly or indirectly suffered terrorist acts.
