The new agreements with the municipalities of Cartagena and San Javier on training seek to promote the productive fabric throughout the year
The Autonomous Community allocates more than 695,000 euros to training courses aimed at generating new jobs and business opportunities in La Manga del Mar Menor. These funds are included in the regional Strategy ‘La Manga 365’, which implements actions to enhance the attractions of La Manga throughout the year, and has 80% European Feder funding.
The general director of Mobility and Litoral, Marina Munuera, yesterday presented the agreements between the regional government and the municipalities of Cartagena and San Javier aimed at financing the development of courses and activities to promote business growth, in the same way as to carry out a plan annual employment and develop, therefore, measures to break seasonality.
“These actions are part of the ‘La Manga Abierta’ axis, which is intended to improve the social and productive fabric in the area to keep it in operation throughout the year,” Munuera said in this regard.
The actions focus on marketing, taxation and consulting; in addition to seasonal adjustment and language skills
Likewise, he indicated that, thanks to these agreements that will be developed by the Local Development and Employment agencies (ADLE), the unemployed and interested entrepreneurs in the La Manga area will have a complete package of training and specific consulting that offers them new opportunities in the concretion and business development.
The ADLEs of Cartagena and San Javier will carry out training activities related to job placement with unemployed people; marketing and taxation; advice and consultancy for local businesses; in addition to activities on seasonally adjusted events and improvement of language skills in languages and customer service. All this in order to specify new projects and develop them.
