Former Comedy Woman star Ekaterina Varnava spoke about how she learned about the closure of the project. In an interview for Youtube-show “Tell Gordeeva” she also assessed the likelihood that the program will return to TV.
Barnabas said that the news of the closure of the project was reported to the participants by the producers of Comedy Woman. She noted that the actresses expected to hear that filming would be suspended, and did not think that the project would be closed. “We thought that most likely they would tell us now:“ It was done worse than usual. Girls, get yourself together, ”the artist admitted. However, the producers reported that Comedy Woman ceases to exist, as the show has outlived its usefulness and “wrote out”.
Since then, the question of reunification has remained open and has been periodically raised, Barnabas explained. “Initially, it sounded very loud that Comedy Woman is ending its existence. Of course, it seemed to me that we were just taking a long break now, everyone would get bored, everything would return to normal. We already had several such stages when we stopped, ”the artist shared.
“I think there might be some changes because we really miss a lot. This is probably the most important thing, ”Barnabas replied to the question of whether they are discussing the return of the project today.
Earlier, another member of Comedy Woman, Nadezhda Angarskaya, spoke about the possible reasons for the closure of the project. The comedian suggested that the show had stopped making money.
