This development comes after the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen announced, on Tuesday, the killing of more than 110 members of the Houthi militia in raids around Marib.
In a statement broadcast by the Saudi Press Agency, the coalition said that it had carried out “30 operations targeting the mechanisms and elements of the militias.” These raids led to “the destruction of 22 military vehicles and a storage site for weapons and ammunition, and the elimination of 110 terrorist elements.”
The raids targeted the Sirwah area in western Ma’rib and Al-Jawf Governorate, near Marib in northern Yemen.
On October 24, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced the killing of 264 members of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in air strikes over a period of 3 days.
The coalition stated that the air strikes targeted two areas near the city of Marib, where battles are taking place between the Houthi militia and the Yemeni government forces.
