Yesterday, the International Coalition forces killed five members of the terrorist organization ISIS, who were responsible for detonating bombs east of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The Observatory said that the International Coalition forces carried out an airdrop operation at dawn yesterday, accompanied by a force affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces, in the village of Dahla in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. The Observatory added that violent armed clashes broke out between the raiding forces and members of ISIS cells holed up inside a house, resulting in the killing of five members of the organization who are believed to be responsible for detonating bombs in the area. The Observatory indicated that two leaders of the terrorist organization had previously been arrested on May 19, during an airdrop operation carried out by the International Coalition Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces, in the town of Umm Gharba in the northern desert of Deir ez-Zor. According to the Observatory, the international coalition forces are continuing their security operations to pursue the remnants of the terrorist organization “ISIS” inside Syrian territory.
