The coalition said in a statement that it had destroyed a “bomb rigged with explosives in Hodeidah,” adding: “We have thwarted an imminent attack targeting freedom of navigation in the southern Red Sea.”
The coalition noted the destruction of “a total of 106 booby-trapped boats that posed a threat to navigation,” stressing that “the coalition’s efforts have contributed to protecting shipping lines and global trade.”
On Sunday, the coalition announced that hostile attacks launched by the terrorist Houthi militia targeted economic and civilian facilities, including the Al-Shaqeeq water desalination plant, the Aramco facility in Jizan, and the Dhahran Al-Janoub power station, in southern Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, the coalition confirmed the interception and destruction of 4 drones launched towards the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He also referred to the interception and destruction of 3 drones at a later time, launched to target economic facilities, and the coalition thwarted a hostile attack by the militia on the liquefied gas plant at the Aramco plant in Yanbu.
The coalition pointed out that a hostile attempt by the militias targeted the gas station in Khamis Mushait, and a ballistic missile was fired towards the city of Jazan to target civilians.
He confirmed that there was material damage to civilian vehicles and residential homes as a result of the hostile attacks, but no loss of life.
The coalition described the Houthi attacks as a response to the Gulf call and a rejection of peace efforts and initiatives.
