The co-owner of the largest metallurgical company in Russia, the chairman of the board of directors of the group of the Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ), Alexander Fedorov, has died. This was reported by Kommersant with reference to the press service of the government of the Chelyabinsk region.
The businessman died at the age of 69 from a serious illness, from which he suffered in recent years.
The governor and the regional government expressed deep condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. “The departure of Alexander Anatolyevich Fedorov is a huge loss for the Chelyabinsk region, for the economy and industry of the entire country. The bright memory of this outstanding man will forever remain in the hearts of his associates, colleagues and friends, everyone who knew and appreciated him, ”reads the obituary.
Fedorov began working at ChTPZ immediately after graduation, starting his career as a mechanic, and rose to the post of general director of the enterprise. He also chaired the company’s board of directors.
