This week, Dubai Municipality closed 5 institutions due to non-compliance with opening times, cleaning and sterilization conditions, overcrowding, failure to wear masks, and commitment to physical distancing. Specific to the use of chemicals and the quality of materials used.
Dubai Municipality inspectors follow daily all precautionary measures and preventive measures that have been circulated to all institutions and activities under its control, and include binding requirements that must be followed in these institutions, most notably physical distancing, increasing the cleaning and disinfection cycle at all times, and the obligation to wear masks and gloves. Dubai to follow up on these procedures, through inspections to ensure compliance with them, and to take the necessary measures with non-compliant parties, in accordance with the controls in place with them. Dubai Municipality inspectors also check the daily follow-up records for the health of workers, write down sterilization and disinfection processes, and ensure that food safety requirements are applied to food during receipt, preparation and storage, display at healthy temperatures, and application of hygiene and sterilization procedures.
The municipality also scrutinizes the various food establishments in the emirate with their various activities, and ensures the application of precautionary measures to be followed in men’s and women’s salons, and children’s salons.
