The Buenos Aires government extended the schedule of the bars, restaurants, cinemas and theaters: from this Friday they can open until 2 in the morning. The capacity remains at 70% of the capacity of the premises.
As of Thursday, August 19, the closing time was 1. A week later, add one more hour. The new flexibility was known through the publication of two resolutions in the Official Gazette of the City this Friday.
One of them bears the signature of the Buenos Aires Minister of Economic Development and Production, José Luis Giusti, and establishes: “that the commercial, entertainment and gastronomic activities may take place in the time slot from 6 to 2“.
The other resolution is signed by the Minister of Culture, Enrique Avogadro, and provides that “the activities of cinemas, theaters and other cultural spaces They may take place in the time slot from 6 to 2 “.

Both resolutions clarify that the activities must be carried out respecting the established protocols and capacities. And it is noted that the authorized flexibilities may be extended, extended or restricted depending on the epidemiological situation and local epidemiological indicators.
The City adheres to the Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) that establishes a capacity of up to 70% of the maximum capacity enabled of the premises for districts with a medium epidemiological and sanitary risk situation. This risk is calculated based on the daily average number of infections.

Is that, unlike the other opportunities, there was no announcement from the head of government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta. Only the resolutions were published in the Official Gazette, as happened again this time.
In the Buenos Aires province, the nocturnal limit is 3 in the morning. But both in Buenos Aires territory and on the other side of General Paz, the opening of dance clubs is not yet allowed. In addition, the gastronomic establishments must be limited to the activity for which they are enabled.
