This Friday, the Governing Board of the Murcia City Council gave the green light to the addendum to the conditions of use of the Enrique Roca Stadium. Specifically, modifications have been approved in clauses 3.2 and 5 of the agreement.
Thus, the Consistory assumes the obligation to pay the amounts corresponding to the costs of water and electricity derived from the normal use of the facility for exclusively sports purposes, considering training sessions, official competitions and friendly matches carried out by the Real Murcia first team as such. and the sports training activities carried out with its bases, as well as those derived from the administrative dependencies necessary for the development of the club’s activity and the uses of a museum, gym or sports clinic.
In relation to electricity costs, Real Murcia provided the necessary documentation in July 2021 to process the change of ownership in favor of the City Council, so that, as of that date, the Murcia Town Hall assumes the energy costs electrical and legal technical maintenance of the building installations.
In a press release, the City Council clarifies that any other use other than those stated above will be subject to prior payment by the promoter or organizer of the activity or event of the expenses derived from the consumption of electricity or water, estimated by the competent municipal services.
Likewise, Real Murcia will present a proposal for both sporting and non-sporting events every six months for knowledge and programming by the Murcia City Council. The first semester from September to January will be communicated before July 30 of each year. The second semester from February to August will be presented before December 30 of each year. The programming will be accredited accompanying pre-contract or sufficient document between the parties that guarantees its realization. However, the events that are proposed will be subject to the authorization and approval of the technical commission and, in no case, may tickets be sold in advance, without said authorization having been approved and notified.
