The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates announced the extension of essential parts of the targeted comprehensive economic support plan, until the middle of 2022. The bank added – in a statement issued today – that the Central Bank’s financing of the loan postponement program under the targeted comprehensive economic support plan will be extended until the end of 2021, so that the remainder of the deferral financing under the aforementioned plan will gradually expire by December 31, 2021.
