This week, the Tourism Qualification Center (CCT) hosted haute cuisine workshops for professionals and hoteliers in the Region adhering to the 1,001 Flavors gastrotourism seal, which included four workshops focused on creative developments and management lines.
The sessions were led by national figures in the sector, such as the head chef of the multidisciplinary space Enigma, Rubén Zubiri, who currently heads the establishment's Creativity department together with Albert Adrià; the gastronomic consultant and researcher at Food Idea Lab David Chamorro; the chef and businessman Nino Redruello (Grupo La Ancha) and the pastry chef Revelación Madrid Fusión 2022 Ausiàs Signes. The coordination was carried out by the gastronomic journalist and head of Gastroactitud Julia Pérez Lozano.
During the first quarter of 2024, the CCT taught a total of 14 in-person hospitality and tourism courses in which 235 people participated and which involved 1,514 training hours.
The 1001 Flavors – Region of Murcia quality seal identifies all those companies located in the Region that act with the objective that Murcian gastronomy and each of its 1,001 Flavors have unique experiences associated with them thanks to the option of combining tradition with gastronomic avant-garde and the richness of native products.
