The Valle Lindo ranch stars in the festivities this Friday, with bells ringing and reveille by the music band
The fourth day of the running of the bulls in Moratalla had a children’s celebration this Thursday in the morning, while the running of the bulls took place in the afternoon. Activities began at 8:00 a.m. with the transfer of five cows from the El Rellano Moratallera ranch from Casa de Cristo to the fence, where they remained until 6:00 p.m., when the long-awaited appointment began.
Later, two other cows were unboxed and joined the celebration to give a new attraction to runners and trimmers. Until half past eight in the afternoon, the wild cattle were touring the streets of the town center in a limited space so that the most enthusiastic could run alongside the horned animals, while the rest observed the cuts from the fences installed at both sides. No incidents were recorded and the running of the bulls gave game to the boys.
This Friday will take place the fifth running of the bulls by village, which will start at half past nine in the morning, with cattle from the Valle Lindo ranch. The festivities begin at seven in the morning with the transfer of the cows from the Casa de Cristo to the outskirts of the town. The ringing of bells and the reveille by the Moratalla music band will complete the festive program in the early hours of the day, before the running of the bulls begins. It is expected that the horned remain in the most central streets of Moratalla until twelve noon.
