The Casting of Frank Stone was presented by the developers during the Future Games Show, as part of a new video diary in which some members of Supermassive Games talked about this horror adventure set in the Dead by Daylight universe.
As the authors explain, in this case we find ourselves faced with a narrative-based single player gametherefore a very different structure compared to the asymmetric multiplayer of the Behavior blockbuster, but which can count on the great experience of those who created titles like Until Dawn and The Quarry.
The goal that the guys at Supermassive Games have set themselves for this project is to create a disturbing story, full of secrets and unexpected twists, capable of keeping users glued to the screen from start to finish.
A new nightmare
Announced last December, The Casting of Frank Stone will take us to Cedar Hills, a city with a dramatic past where a group of friends find themselves involved in a story that has its roots in the atrocities committed by Frank Stone.
Soon the boys will discover that Stone’s evil is not confined to the past, but continues to claim innocent victims and corrupt the very foundations of reality. The macabre crimes of a sadistic killer, inspired by historical figures and urban legends, will give rise to horrors that defy all logic and understanding.
We will be able to immerse ourselves in the mystery of Cedar Hills alongside a cast of new characters, each with their own story and secrets to keep. We will have to collaborate with them, overcome our fears and make difficult choices to reveal the truth and stop the evil that lurks in the shadows.
In The Casting of Frank Stone every decision will have consequences on the history and destiny of each protagonist, as per tradition for Supermassive Games productions.
