The designer currently drives a Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid, an SUV that she describes as “like a tank and ultra cybernetic, I’m happy, I could move in and live in it”
Cosima Ramirez Ruiz de la Pradadaughter of
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and the journalist
Pedro J. Ramirez, works as Head of International Relations for the brand and is also an ‘influencer’. This designer, whose greatest creation has been cosmic sneakers, confesses to this newspaper that cars are just a “tool to move, but
That doesn’t make them any less exciting., the freedom they grant is priceless. They also represent an oasis in which to be alone with your thoughts, with your music and your purposes”. At 31, he reveals that he got his driver’s license at 24, “a little late, I did it for my dog Gordon Brown (which inspired a great sense of responsibility and maturity)”.
The most curious thing was his first car, a Fiat Bravo, “in which the music went up when accelerating”, he points out with a laugh; a vehicle that
keeps “few” unspeakable secrets, in fact, “he wears them very dignifiedly exposed in his cuirass”. On his first long trip he drove from Milan to Barcelona with his dog Tupac. “We only stopped for 15 minutes on the way and when we arrived she was ready to continue to Portugal with pure adrenaline,” she adds.
He currently drives an SUV, a Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid, which “is like a tank and ultra cybernetic, I’m happy, I could move to live in it,” he says, while noting that “the cameras and parking instructions,
I can’t imagine how to park without them. (And the wireless charger next to the passenger seat isn’t bad either.)” What’s more, his four-wheeled companion “is a billion times better, I never expected to drive such a good car, especially technologically.”
When choosing a car, for Cósima, who shares a car with her brother Tristán, “emissions prevail, then mechanics and then aesthetics, although of course I would love to do it the other way around”. Even his mother still drives “the first hybrid that came on the market that is still almost perfect after 15 years”, so for this family the care of health and the environment is very important.
This young designer is one of those who prefer “to be behind the wheel if I’m in the car alone; if not
definitely as a passenger to be able to abstract more happily“, although, as a co-pilot, she defines herself as the one “who warns of imaginary dangers”. Finally, she is also one of those who believes that a car says a lot about its owner: “Luckily cars still don’t talk, although I imagine we little left. We will have to be more careful with what we entrust to them, “he concludes.
