Hundreds of people have been evacuated in the last two days as a result of the rains that have hit the entire country since Thursday Central American, with greater rainfall throughout the Caribbean region, which is the most productive in agricultural, industrial and commercial matters.
In Tegucigalpa, also crossed by geological faults, some families were forced by lifeguards to abandon their modest homes, in neighborhoods located on the banks of rivers and streams that were flooded.

Although Storm Sara, which also forced the closure of four international airports, has already left the country, red, yellow and green alerts remain in the 18 departments that make up the Honduran territory.
Six other departments remain on red alert in the Caribbean, in addition to four on yellow and six on green.

Storm Sara has also left so far 3,946 homes damaged, 2,534 destroyed and 209 cut-off communities, to which are added dozens of roads, bridges, aqueduct, sewage, electrical services, agricultural, livestock, industrial and tourist productive areas, among others, that have also suffered damage.
Of the 18 departments of the country, 15 have been affected by Tropical Storm Sara, which was downgraded to a tropical depression upon making landfall in Belize, after having formed on the 14th off the coast of Central America.
