According to La Sexta, the Oriolan businessman based in Murcia received the general power of attorney to manage the company Pamlicost Overseas SA in 2009
Trinitario Casanova, an Oriolan businessman and settled in Murcia for decades, appears in the ‘Pandora papers’ as a representative of a company in Panama. As published by La Sexta this Monday, the owner of the Baraka Group received the general power of attorney to manage the company Pamlicost Overseas SA, registered in this country on November 11, 2009.
As reported by La Sexta, it was on December 19 when Casanova received this power. The document allows the bearer -in this case Trinitario- to do everything with the company that has granted it: buy and sell properties, open bank accounts, apply for loans and mortgages, etc.
Trinitario Casanova leads a life linked to brick. In recent years, the Baraka Group, of which it is the owner, bought the España Building in Madrid for more than 265 million euros from the Asian company Wanda. The acquisition of this property was in July 2016 but the businessman, half Oriolano half Muciano, did not take a year to sell it to the Riu hotel chain for 272 million euros.
Another of Casanova’s notable movements was Operation Chamartín -the largest real estate project in Madrid, with an investment of 400 million euros for reversion rights to the more than 1,000 families from which their land was expropriated in their day. In addition, in mid-2018 it invested 20 million in the acquisition and renovation of the Casa Cerdá in Santo Domingo, one of the most emblematic buildings in the capital.
