The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Junta de Andalucía has opened the call for aid for the development of satellite systems, equipped with 16 million euros. The Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA) has already published the registration forms and the application deadline for these grants will be available until April 15. To access aid, companies must prove their participation in an agreement of Business collaboration and execute actions related to industrial research, experimental development, consulting for SMEs, innovation and promotion of cooperation between companies.
The selected projects must focus on any of the Four key phases of a satellite mission: Management and coordination of the mission, development and manufacture of the satellite, validation of useful loads and operation in orbit.

Financing and priorities
The budget of 16 million euros will be aimed mainly to SMEs and Groups of SMEs, with a total of 14.8 million euros. In addition, one million euros has been reserved for large companies, provided they collaborate with SMEs in their projects, and 200,000 euros to boost collaboration between companies and entities.
Incentives will be granted in a competitive concurrence regime, prioritizing those projects with greater scientific, industrial and regional impact. Aids will range from 10,000 euros minimums and a maximum amount subject to the evaluation of the technical potential of the project.
