What is the movie about?
The story centers on Finney Shaw, a 13-year-old boy who is kidnapped by a psychopath. In the confinement of him, the protagonist discovers that there are other children trapped. They will help him to escape from there and rebuild his life as before.

On Rotten Tomatoes, “The Black Phone” has an 86% approval rating from critics. Even more surprising is the rating of 93 out of 100 by the public.
“The movie could have been even scarier, but it’s still an entertaining and well-acted adaptation of frighteningly good source material,” the consensus ruled.
