There are few areas in life that act as mortar like sports. It is often said that it is the reflection of society and is often punctuated by horrendous episodes of racism, xenophobia, machismo and various acts of vandalism, all of them deplorable and reprehensible. But indispensable values such as solidarity, support and team spirit usually go hand in hand with sport. Values that are internalized when you are a kid and you find yourself involved in one way or another in a sports practice. That is why it is always one of the necessary platforms to lend a hand in times when we are trying to weather great tragedies, such as the one that the Valencian Community is suffering these days.
