Bandai Namco adapts the action of the successful manganime to the fashionable genre on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch.
Bandai Namco is working on a battle-royale about the My Hero Academia universe. The information was advanced a few days ago by a Japanese publication and now, the company has made the first details of the video game official, sharing a first trailer and a gameplay from My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble.
As previewed, this is a free-to-play action adventure for 24 opponents, who will be able to choose between manganime heroes and villains to fight to be the last survivors in games for eight teams of three players. for now it is unknown if there will be a free-for-all mode.
Each character present in the video game has a different set of skills, which can be enhanced with the help of some cards spread out on the map. From Bandai Namco they encourage teamwork at this point, explaining that if you want to achieve victory you must also collect the cards of your companions. Finally, it is also specified that the stage will have civilians that, depending on the role of hero or villain, will have to be rescued or attacked.
When can we play it? At the moment My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble does not have a release date, and less for the West where it has not been announced. Yes, a closed beta test has been confirmed from February 2 to 6 for 10,000 players from PS4 in Japan. The game will also come to PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
