“TheBatman” has finally been launched. Its passage through theaters promises success, which could motivate new deliveries. For now, it has already been confirmed that we will have a spin-off of Colin Farrell’s Penguin and a project associated with the Arkham mental institution. However, they are not the only plans in mind to expand the universe of the Bat Man played by Robert Pattinson.

At the end of the aforementioned film, directed by Matt Reeves, The Riddler was caught and imprisoned in a cell with a neighbor with characteristics very familiar to DC fans. In that sense, it has already been revealed that the mysterious figure is indeed joker.
This iconic villain is brought to fiction by Barry Keoghan. Although the Reever announced that he left some scenes with the character out of the film, it is possible that we will soon see him in all his splendor. This was anticipated in an interview with Variety.

Joker’s future
The aforementioned portal asked the filmmaker what will come for Keoghan’s Joker, whose presence inevitably places him in a potential sequel. But Matt Reeves is clear that we will not see the killer clown in an upcoming movie. Even so, this does not exclude him from the new projects in the pipeline for “The Batman”.
“There may be places. There are things I’m very interested in doing in an Arkham space, potentially for HBO Max. There are things that we have talked about there, so it is very possible. It is also not impossible that there is a story that picks up where the Joker comes to our world, “said the filmmaker.
He also acknowledges that his intent to put Joker in the film isn’t necessarily an easter egg for a sequel: “It’s not one of those Marvel or DC end-credits scenes where you’re like, ‘Hey, this is is the next movie! In fact, I have no idea when or if we would return to that character in the movies.”
“I never tried to say, ‘Hey, guess what, here’s the Joker. next movie! The idea was more like, ‘Hey, look, if you think the problems are going to go away in Gotham, you can forget about it,’” he added.
