The most ultraconservative and radical right, heir to the Francoismwhen he wants to attack and not talk about the multiple murders that took place during and after the coup d’état perpetrated by the most retrograde economic, military and religious elites lacking democracy and thus justify the coup, the multiple murders and the genocide and the subsequent repression from ’40 to even ’78, indicate that those they call “reds” committed atrocities and great murders during the war and speak of the example of Paracuellos and the Czech women.
The fact of Neck guards and the torture that was carried out in the Czechs was outrageous, deplorable and out of character with what a human being can and should do. But that right that tries to rewrite and that rewrote history for many years at will. It is forgotten that they also committed during the war facts that are equally aberrant and genocidal, as is the case that happened on August 14, 1936 in the bullring of Badajoz.
The method for the execution was indiscriminate machine-gunning and the worst thing is that it was done, according to what is known from oral memory, in the presence of a public sympathetic to the Francoists.
A concentration camp was set up there with more than 1,200 internees and where more than 3,000 Republicans were brutally executed, as witnessed by journalists such as Jay Allen either Mario Neves. Both saw how actions were taken in the camp in a manner similar to what later occurred in the Auschwitz camp in the Second World War.
The method for the execution was indiscriminate machine-gunning and the worst thing is that it was done, according to what is known from oral memory, with the presence of an audience sympathetic to the Francoists who cheered as if it were a spectacle in the style of the Roman times and the cruelest emperors. Rene Brut managed to film images of hundreds of charred corpses on large pyres next to the San Juan cemetery and thrown into mass graves. Generals like Yagüe and Mola were the promoters of such genocides.
The civil war was a coup d’état and the repression of the so-called victors was an aberrant and inexcusable genocide
Generals who today still keep their names on the streets of some of our cities and towns. These facts are not mentioned at any time in the concord laws that the PP is approving. How does this right and extreme right justify the fact that today there are still thousands of defenders of freedom in mass graves and the genocides carried out by the African troops who later served as Franco’s personal guard?
The justification continues to be Paracuellos and the Czechs. Enough of seeing only one aspect and rewriting the story as it interests you. The civil war was a coup d’état and the repression of the so-called victors was an aberrant and inexcusable genocide and those who did it must disappear from our streets. And those murdered must have their dignity recognized and their families must ask for forgiveness, on the part of those who want to erase the genocide of their ancestors, only then will there be: Truth, Justice, Dignity and Reparation.
