With the pictorial exhibition My Ghosts by the Mazatleca plastic artist Marysol Galván, the Mazatl Bachiller Cultural Center reopened this cultural space after a long period of inactivity.
The opening
At the opening ceremony were Present Yadira Osuna, executive coordinator of zone 05 of COBAES, Professor Ramón Peraza, head of the Cultural Center; as well as educational authorities of that institution. The executive coordinator shared that the Sinaloa State High School College makes great efforts to promote culture and facilitate it, as well as motivate students to venture into this discipline, as in others. She also thanked the artist for accepting the invitation to exhibit her work and share it with students and the general public.
The work
My ghosts is a collection made up of 7 works of beings devoid of physical qualities, but surrounded by worlds with peculiar shapes and lots of color. At the opening of her exhibition, the artist thanked her family for the opportunity to accompany her and mentioned that the most important instead are the young people, to whom all this work is directed, as well as the offer that is given at the Cultural Center. She pointed out that the important thing is not that the venue remains open, but that young people visit it and invite more people to admire the work. This collection is distinguished by its mixed technique, but mainly acrylic on canvas, which will be on display throughout the month of June. With this work, Marysol Galván already adds her fourth individual exhibition in her career, while for Cobaes this is the second time that she has exhibited.
