The father, co-author of the thefts, is still hospitalized after the injuries sustained in the accident they had on Sunday after the theft of a car
The alleged perpetrator of the thefts of vehicles and homes in Mula, committed last week, is imprisoned without bail, after giving a statement before the judge. The boy’s father, co-author of the robberies, is still hospitalized after the injuries sustained in the accident they had on Sunday morning after the theft of a car.
The person arrested and imprisoned is 36 years old and lives in the Muleño neighborhood of San Felipe. He was in prison for other crimes, although he is known to suffer from mental health problems due to his drug addiction.
The 63-year-old father also suffers from diminished mental faculties for the same reason. He is awaiting his medical discharge to be questioned, after which he will be taken to court so that the judge can rule on secrecy.
The journey of father and son began last Sunday, July 3, when they stole a van, with a canal inside, after which they fled through the paths of the Mula orchard and were identified in the district of El Niño. After being arrested and giving a statement, they were released by the Mula court.
Three days later they stole a van and a car again, to which they added a robbery in a house, for which they were arrested again, although the judge released them. On Saturday night and early Sunday morning, the same alleged perpetrators stole a Nissan vehicle in the San Felipe neighborhood, an act for which they were arrested by security forces in the Montreal area after an accident. Both suffered injuries and were admitted to the Arrixaca hospital.
After releasing the 36-year-old young man, the Civil Guard presented the accused before the judge, who ruled that he be imprisoned. His father, 63 years old, and with the same mental health problems, is waiting to be questioned by the Mula judge when he is discharged from the hospital.
