The surveillance team is limited to half a dozen agents, as the National Police have to cover the Christmas security device and against the pandemic
A hundred immigrants have been installed in the temporary camp set up for those who have just arrived by boat and which is guarded by the National Police. Their number has been increased by the around 50 passengers who were on the boats that arrived since last Friday. There are currently only half a dozen officers to monitor all of these people.
This control work takes place at the same time that there is an important contingent deployed to ensure the security of the Christmas holidays. In it there are members of the Prevention and Reaction Unit and also personnel on motorcycles. Among the tasks entrusted to them is support for safe commerce and assistance to the Local Police to avoid contagion by Covid-19.
