The Civil Guard has arrested this Thursday morning the alleged murderer of the 36-year-old girl, Estela BS, who was found dead in her ex-partner’s home in the As Ínsuas area, in the Baionese parish of Belesar, in the early hours of last Friday, November 8.
According to Benemérita sources consulted by Europa Press, the man had called the Baiona Civil Guard barracks because “he could not stand the pressure of the search”, so he was later detained in the parish of Belesar, the same where resided and where the events occurred. Specifically, He was arrested around 7:00 a.m. this Thursday, after six days of searching and after spending almost a week hiding in the same place. Thus, he was transferred to Vigo, where his demonstration is being taken and, after this, he will be brought to justice.
The detainee had had a romantic relationship with the woman and He had previous complaints of gender violence. In fact, last April the Violence against Women court in Vigo issued a restraining order for the victim, who was registered in the VioGen monitoring system, classified as “medium risk.”
In the early hours of last Friday, the man himself, Humberto GR, called 112 to report that he had found Estela at the door of his home and that he had put her in the house and covered him with a blanket. However, when the paramedics arrived (who could only confirm the death), he fled the scene, claiming that he had nothing to do with the girl’s death and that he was not going to “eat that brown.”
