The State Meteorological Agency has announced weak and scattered rains for today, Monday, in a large part of the country, although in some parts of the Balearic Islands this rainfall may be heavy.
A situation of post-frontal instability is expected in the north of the peninsula with rainfall, generally weak and dispersed, affecting the Cantabrian area, the upper Ebro and northern Iberia and the Pyrenees, without ruling it out in surrounding areas.
Likewise, locally strong showers are likely in the west of the Balearic Islands with a tendency to extend to parts of the southeast of the peninsula and the Andalusian Mediterranean coast at the end of the day.
Stable weather in the rest of the country with abundant low morning cloudiness in the northern half of the peninsula and haze retreating from the Canary Islands.
Maximum temperatures will increase in Galicia, with slight decreases predominating in the rest, more pronounced in the eastern Cantabrian Sea, around the Iberian Sea, Alboran and in the Canary Islands; The minimums will decrease in Galicia and the Canary Islands, increasing in the eastern Cantabrian Sea and in the southwest of the peninsula; and few changes in the rest, with weak frosts in the Pyrenees.
Trade wind in the Canary Islands, and predominance of winds from the north and northeast in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, with a thunderstorm in the Ebro, and intervals of strong north winds with probable very strong gusts in Ampurdán and the Balearic Islands. In the Strait and Alborán the east tends to worsen with the probability of strong intervals at the end, also possible on the coasts of northwest Galicia.

GALICIA: Cloudy tending to slightly cloudy or clear from midday, except in the northeast. Mists and probable morning fogs in the interior, mainly in elevated areas of the southeast. Temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing, with minimum temperatures expected at the end of the day. Wind from the north, weak in the interior and weak to moderate on the coast.
BASQUE COUNTRY: Cloudy skies. Some mist or fog banks are not ruled out in the interior, mainly in the valleys. Early morning rains in the western end, without being ruled out during the rest of the day in a weak and occasional manner throughout the Community. Minimum temperatures rising and maximum temperatures falling, weak in general. Wind from the north, weak in the interior and weak to moderate on the coast.
CASTILLA Y LEÓN: In the northeast and extreme north cloudy with a probability of weak rainfall, safer in the eastern mountain areas, in the rest cloudy intervals. Scattered mists and fogs in the first half of the day. Minimum temperatures rising in the northeast and decreasing or unchanged in the rest and maximum temperatures slightly decreasing. LA RIOJA: Cloudy, with a probability of weak rainfall in the western half, especially in mountain areas. Probability of mists and fog banks in the Sierra. Minimum temperatures rising and maximum temperatures slightly falling. Northwest and north winds.
ARAGON: Cloudy intervals in the Iberian system and the Pyrenees and slightly cloudy skies in the rest. Mists and fog banks in the morning in areas of the Iberian system and south of Huesca. Possible weak and scattered rainfall at the border of the Pyrenees, with snow level around 2000 m. Temperatures in slight decrease or without changes. Northwest wind, moderate in the Ebro valley and weak in the rest.
CATALONIA: Cloudy skies in the Pyrenees and predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies in the rest. Mists and fog banks in the morning in the central depression. Weak rainfall in the Aran Valley, with snow level around 2000 m. Minimum temperatures in slight decrease and maximum temperatures with few changes. Moderate wind from the north in the Ampurdán, with possible very strong gusts in exposed areas of its northern end; Moderate northwest wind in the southern half of Tarragona and light north and west components in the rest.
EXTREMADURA: Little cloudy. Chance of scattered mists and fog in the first half of the day. Temperatures unchanged. Light northeasterly winds, more intense in the north.
MADRID: A little cloudy, with intervals of low cloudiness accompanied by mists and scattered fog banks in the Sierra at the beginning and end of the day. Minimum temperatures with slight changes, predominantly decreases in the Sierra and increases in the rest. Maximum temperatures with slight changes. Light winds from the north and northeast.
CASTILLA – LA MANCHA: Little cloudy in general, with intervals of low cloudiness accompanied by mists and scattered fog banks in the Central and Iberian systems and in La Mancha de Albacete at the beginning and end of the day. Minimum temperatures with slight changes, predominantly decreases in the Central system and increases in La Mancha and the Tagus and Guadiana valleys. Maximum temperatures with slight changes, predominantly decreases in the eastern end and in the mountains north of Ciudad Real and south of Toledo.
