Recently the intriguing plot of “The Adam Project” landed on Netflix and has already become one of the most popular titles on the platform. The film, directed by Shawn Levy, stars Ryan Reynolds; but, in case you hadn’t noticed, the actor is not the only detail that ‘references’ Marvel. Next, we tell you the details.

The MCU multiverse
In one of the film’s scenes, the past version of Adam talks to his future self about how time travel works. At that moment, the little boy says the following: “Unless it works like a multiverse where each wave creates a different timeline.”
This is a clear reference to the concept under which ‘The House of Ideas’ has built its fourth phase and which, especially, materialized in a more concrete way with “Spiderman: no way home”, where we can see different versions of a same character.

Shared actors
Reynolds and several members of the cast have a company in common on their resume: Marvel. In addition to the interpreter who gives life to Deadpool (whose third installment has already found its director), we can recognize important figures such as Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Zoe Saldaña (Gamora) and Jennifer Garner (Elektra Natchios in the movie “Daredevil” with Ben Affleck).
Also, as if that were not enough, there is a frame towards the end of the film that includes some very curious stickers: Deadpool and Hulk on a container lid. Could it be a hint that we will see Bruce Banner in the mercenary’s new adventure? We’ll soon find out.
