As promised by Acura Motorsports, the all-new ARX-06 LMDh made its first track outing this week ahead of its debut in the IMSA SportsCar Championship for the 2023 season.
The new generation prototype, built in collaboration with Oreca, had seen the ignition of the engine last week and on Friday it covered the first meters in Le Castellet, where the French manufacturer is based.

In addition to the Honda technicians, the official rider and test driver Ricky Taylor, who also worked for Oreca, and Matt McMurry were also present, with the tests that will continue now, starting the real development tests.
For the moment the technical data sheet remains top-secret and the experts continue to try to hide as much as possible with the white-black camouflage livery that had appeared in the two promotional images of the first announcement of the project.
“I am really proud of what the team has made possible, we have the most beautiful car seen so far!” Wrote an excited McMurry on his social channels.
