The Sharjah Education Council concluded the activities of the Innovators Camp, which it organized in cooperation and partnership with the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, with the aim of exploring and developing students’ skills in design and innovation processes.
The council succeeded in organizing the camp after the participation of 50 students who received a series of workshops during the camp period, within the framework of the plans and objectives of the Care and Activities Department of the Sharjah Education Council, to achieve the highest possible benefit, in addition to strengthening the partnership with one of the entities concerned with innovation in the Emirate of Sharjah, the Sharjah Research Complex Technology and Innovation, which hosted the camp at its headquarters.
Students were allowed to explore new topics, learn innovative future skills, try out many high-tech equipment, and workshops specialized in design processes, to form innovative products, and develop skills in several areas, such as 3D printing, laser cutting, robotics, and green technology. Training affiliates to work in teams, using creativity to explore and solve problems that can make a difference in the world.
