The creators of the game warned last week of a change of plans and speculation grows.
Did you miss us telling you news about Abandoned? We also. After last week’s disappointment, when it was planned to know more about the game and that its managers issued a video urging us to wait until August. The fact is that, if you remember, they indicated that they would teach their first gameplay through an app from PS5. And it seems that it is already uploaded to the PlayStation servers.
The app cannot be downloaded and has a weight of 1.9 GBThe page PlayStation Game Size, specialized in finding the contents that reach the PS Store, affirms that the survival horror app is already on the Sony console servers. This does not tell us much, beyond leaving the feeling that they already have all the material prepared and simply want us to spend another month with speculations. The content would have a size of 1.9GB and obviously, not available for download yet.
The app also has a description that mentions that we would see what Abandoned will offer in real time. It doesn’t look like it’s going to be a playable demo, as some thought, but rather aims to offer high quality videos with some kind of interactivity to discover.
Much has been speculated about the possible involvement of Hideo Kojima in the project, but for now, all we know is through a video recorded by Hasan Kahraman, director of the game, saying that they want to be sure that what they are going to teach is up to the task and postponing the presentation until next time month of August.
