Murcia need their fans to return with force to Enrique Roca. Since the 2015-16 season, the second consecutive season in Second B after the 2014 administrative decline, the grana club has always seen its number of subscribers grow, except last season due to the pandemic. In the aforementioned year, it added 4,736 members, although from there the social mass increased progressively. In the following season, 2016-17, Murcia reached 6,100 fans who enjoyed a second round of the ‘playoff’ for promotion to Second in which Vicente Mir’s team succumbed to Mestalla.
During the 2017-18 academic year there were 7,400 faithful who relied on an ambitious and expensive squad designed by Deseado Flores and that, however, was eliminated in the ‘playoff’ at the first exchange against Elche de Pacheta, which did rise.
In 2018-19 the figure, helped by the arrival of exciting signings such as Dani Aquino, Jesús Alfaro and Maestre, among others, reached 8,800 members. However, two courses ago marked a milestone in the history of Grana in Second B since Real Murcia de Tornel, Adrián Hernández and company reached 11,500 members. Last year, despite the pandemic and health restrictions, Murcia made 7,700 cards, an amount that he hopes, at least, to repeat this summer.
Will play the Federation Cup
Murcia, which appealed to the Spanish Federation for not registering for the Federation Cup, will finally dispute it in the Lleida position, with a lower coefficient.
