His company and the Hesperia hotel group keep the negotiation open during the extension of the service until the 15th
Around 60 cleaners from La Manga Club demonstrated at noon this Tuesday in the tourist complex and later gathered at the door of the Hotel Príncipe Felipe, to demand that they be allowed to keep their jobs in the accommodation.
The 15-day extension agreed by the Hesperia group, which manages the resort, and Samsic Espana, which has contracted them to provide the service, does not convince them. “We are afraid that it will be a temporary measure and what we want is to continue here, either with this company, or with a subrogation to the merchant that comes,” explained Toñi Nuñez, who is one of the employees.
The staff of cleaning workers, the majority of whom are women, plan to hold demonstrations and rallies at noon every day until there is a solution they find satisfactory.
Likewise, they plan to concentrate before the Regional Assembly this Wednesday, since there is a plenary session, to make their claim visible to the deputies and representatives of the Government of the Autonomous Community.
