- Last Wednesday, November 16, my parents celebrated 55 years of marriage.
Mrs Olivia Motta de Lizárraga and the lord Juan Bautista Lizárraga Osuna, 83 and 84 years old respectively, they make up a matchless couple. After so many years together they continue to behave like boyfriends, it is not uncommon to find them standing in a corner of their house giving each other small and furtive kisses, as if afraid of being discovered. They go out every day for walks as newly-loved people do, they continue to retain the energy and will to continue walking the path of life together, ready to face the joys, sorrows, and sorrows that lie ahead, which are an inherent part of and natural of all existence, but always together hand in hand.
Surely they have had problems, difficulties and setbacks throughout their marriage, which they have known how to overcome and solve, showing us all that when there is love, devotion, respect and understanding, everything has a solution.
For my siblings and me, my parents have been and continue to be the pillars that support our understanding of the world, of what that ideal world should be like, in which love, responsibility, patience and values are the axes. guiding all our actions, only that in the case of my parents that is not an ideal but a reality.
The example of the great couple that make up and celebrate their 55th anniversary can only be given by living a lifetime being consistent and faithful to their love, there are no shortcuts.
Yes, for the science of law, the family continues to be the cell and foundation of society, my parents are the best example of this.
Today I feel more proud to be his son, to have been born to such phenomenal and extraordinary people as my parents are.
Parents, I wish you many congratulations on your 55th wedding anniversary, may you celebrate many, many more years and may God allow me to continue enjoying them. Long live the bride and groom!
As always, a pleasure to greet you, hoping that these few letters have been to your liking Until next time!
