The women’s pre-world championship was played prior to the 2015 World Cup in Canada. The Mexican Women’s National Team faced Martinique in the group stage and with this 10-0 victory, they secured second place in the standings, only behind Costa Rica. The goals were from Tania Samarzich, a brace from Luz Duarte, Stephany Mayor, OG. Johanne Guillou, Alina Garciamendez, Dinora Garza, double by Monica Ocampo and the win was closed with a goal by Teresa Noyola.
