Players (2006)
The story is set in the 90s and is about a group of teenagers from a populous neighborhood in Lima. The boys are football lovers, so whenever they can they play a ‘pichanga’. However, one of them will soon leave the country and before their trip, they will all sign up for a soccer championship so they can take a good memory. Themes such as family abuse and early sexual experiences are also explored throughout the film.
