This is the 1×1 of the Spanish players in their match against France:
Unai Simón (7): he was seen somewhat nervous in some actions in the first half. He could do little in the play of Benzema’s goal.
Azpilicueta (7): was quite good in defense and very participative in the offensive actions of the national team occupying the center lane.
Eric García (8): normally he is criticized, but today during the first half he has dried up Kylian Mbappé. He left Pau Torres on the bench, who started in the semifinal match against Italy.
Laporte (8): as usual very successful. It is an essential piece both in the defensive aspect without the ball and when it comes to getting the ball played from behind.
Marcos Alonso (6): without getting to make a bad game far from it, perhaps he was the defender who stood out the least in the Spanish zone. He saved a key pass over Mbappé in the second half.
Busquets (8): this level of Busquets corroborates that he is currently much more comfortable playing with the Spanish team than in Ronald Koeman’s Barça. He completed a very good dribble in the first half that knocked out Karim Benzema.
Rodri (7): To everyone’s surprise Luis Enrique decided to line up Rodri ahead of Koke in the indoor position.
The game started somewhat deconcentrated, but together with Busquets he took the baton from the center of the field of the selection.
Gavi (8): it seems impossible that this boy has just turned 17 years old. He plays with an enviable personality, he always completes good performances without the ball and has managed, using his body, to dribble and take balls away from players like Pogba or Tchouameni.
Ferrán Torres (7): with the Spanish team he is sweet and his start to the game was very good. Something erratic in the vast majority of centers that he tried to put in the area.
Mikel Oyarzabal (9): he looks quite comfortable in that false nine position, but everything indicates that the person in charge of occupying that position will be Dani Olmo when he recovers from his injury. Very precise in the combinations throughout the whole game.
Sarabia (5): the first part of the current Sporting de Portugal player left much to be desired. He was very unsuccessful in the vast majority of actions in which he intervened, and that is that his right boot was the clearest occasion of the first half. Yéremi Pino entered in his place.
Yéremi Pino (7): much impudence of the canary who improved the Sarabia game by a lot.
Koke (6): good minutes from Madrid who, as always, brought balance and precision.
Mikel Merino (-)
Fornals (-): had a chance at the discount within the area.
