The 2025 Club World Cup will be held next summer. Despite the controversy caused by the overcrowding of the calendar, FIFA is not backing down and is moving forward with its new competition.
Last week, the governing body of world football announced the name of the twelve stadiums that will host at least one match of the Club World Cup, which will take place from June 15 to July 13, 2025 in the United States.
As will happen in the 2026 World Cup, the MetLife Stadium in New York, with the capacity to hold 82,000 spectators, will be the venue that will host the grand final of the tournament. As a reminder, there will be 32 teams competing in this new competition that will be played globally. It is the first time that this format is used, and it will be similar to that of the national team World Cup. Without a doubt, it will be followed very closely by football fans.

Among the 32 participating teams there will be two Spanish ones: Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid. Both will fight against Manchester City, Bayern Munich or PSG, among others, to be the first Club World Cup champion.
At the moment the schedule or the rivals that each of the teams will face are not known. In the absence of official confirmation, the draw will be held in the month of January.
