Bandai Namco Europe has announced the development of the first game for PC and console based on the famous Tensura series. The action RPG That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles will be available digitally on August 8, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
In That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles, players will follow leader Rimuru Tempest and his companions as they create a new nation, the Jura Tempest Federation, from scratch and then develop it. This 2D side-scrolling action RPG follows the events of the original story, such as the encounters with the Kijin and the battle against the Kingdom of Falmuth, making it a perfect way to discover its universe for the first time. But there will also be two additional exclusive stories supervised by the original author, Fuse, accompanied by some new characters created by the illustrator of the series, giving life to a new experience that will surely win over even long-time fans!
Leaving the city, players will be able to explore the world of Tempest, where fiery battles against bosses and opponents await them, with the same techniques and dynamic combos as the anime series. Returning to the city, they will be able to take on some side missions, helping their companions and at the same time strengthening their bonds and their fighting skills.
