Thalia organized a reunion with the actor Eduardo Capetillo, after 27 years of the premiere of the telenovela Marimar, a Televisa production released in January 1994, which turned out to have one of the best ratings and even, almost on par, competed with the numbers that spawned the Super Bowl.
It was the singer of “Amor a la Mexicana” and “No me memoria” who shared the conversation they had virtually on her YouTube channel.

Eduardo Capetillo on Marimar: “It makes me very proud”
The 51-year-old interpreter gave life to Sergio Santibáñez, and pointed out that the telenovela represented an important milestone in his life.
“It makes me very proud. It is a job that without a doubt, for me, marked a before and after in my life on television. I have lived from television for many years … the fact that today Marimar continues to repeat himself in various places and continues in the first place of audience, is incredible, “he said.
“They filled me with love and they continue to fill me in all countries with different religions, different social aspects, political structures, languages … (when they tell me) ‘my daughter is called Marimar’, ‘my daughter is called Thalía'”, added the 50-year-old actress.

Eduardo Capetillo highlights Thalía’s professionalism
Among the anecdotes that the actors commented, the scene where Thalía had to remove a bracelet with her teeth from the mud stood out. Eduardo Capetillo said he was impressed that his partner, being the megastar that he already was at that time, performed the scene without claiming or posing as a diva.
The actress commented that for that scene it was first planned that it was not clay, but chocolate. However, during the shot it was noticed very ‘chafa’ (false), because the bracelet (supposedly made of gold) looked orange because of the contrast.
Thalía said that she went aside to talk with the stage director and it was agreed that it had to be done well, and for that reason they brought real mud.
