All things considered, the Italian expansion plan is still in small steps compared to what is happening, for example, in Chinese territory. It appears that some Tesla owners from a remote mountain village in China are transforming their Model Y vehicles into mobile suites, taking advantage in particular of the ‘Camp’ mode. Thanks to this insight they are fueling the local tourism sector. According to Teslarati, about 31 people from a small village in Yunnan province called Panzhihua own a Model Y.
Basically, when all host families are full on hotel rooms and other facilities, Tesla owners rent their vehicles to visitors for the night.
