Andrei Rublev advanced to the finals of the Dubai ATP on Friday. After his victory, he appealed for peace.

Rublev defeated the Pole in Friday’s semi-final match Hubert Hurkaczin erin 3–6, 7–5, 7–6 (7–5) and then presented his message for the whole world to see.

“No war, please,” Rublev said wrote camera lens. His peace message was broadcast on, among other things, the television channel TSN.

Rublev does not appreciate the war of aggression waged by his country in Ukraine. As early as Thursday, he said he believed in peace and unity instead of war.

Rublev will face a Czech in the final on Saturday Jiří Veselýn. Superstar Novak Djokovicin knocked out in the semi-finals, Veselý, 28, is only 123th on the ATP list.
