The Tennis Association launches the new season, with the launch of academy tournaments in various regions of the country.
Nasser Yousef Al Marzouqi, Secretary-General of the Federation, welcomed the holding of tournaments on a large scale, given the importance of the competitive and societal aspects in promoting the practice of tennis, stressing that the Tennis Federation is in the process of cooperating with all academies and entities to contribute to the success of the tournaments, through technical support.
Al Marzouqi pointed out that this month witnesses the launch of the activities of the second edition of the “Talent Scout,” an initiative organized by the Federation, in cooperation with the General Sports Authority, and held at the “Top Spin” stadiums in Dubai, and coinciding with the final of the “Top Spin” Masters Championship, with the aim of encouraging… Practicing tennis as a competitive and community sport, through talented players communicating with adults on shared courts.
Among the most prominent tournaments that launched the new season, the sixth edition of the Mado tournament series stands out, which is held in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with wide participation of male and female players of all ages.
The city of Al Ain witnessed the organization of the Fsta Academy, a tournament for the under-14 age group, with the participation of 32 male and female players.
The Top Spin Academy launched the second edition of the Masters Tournament on its courts in Dubai, which is organized by the academy with the support of the UAE and International Tennis Federations, and specializes in players from 30 to 70 years old, with the participation of 110 male and female players from various countries of the world.
